Dr. med. Wolfgang Töbel born in 1932 in Ludwigsburg, in the family of a priest of the Christian Community, his childhood passed in Stuttgart. He attended the Free Waldorf School, which was banned during the Nazi era and reopened after World War II, and received a certificate of maturity in it. He studied medicine in Freiburg, Innsbruck and Marburg. He specialized as a children's doctor at the university children's clinic in Tübingen. He worked as an assistant at the Ita Wegman clinic in Arlesheim (Switzerland). He took part in the opening of a multidisciplinary communal clinic in Herdek (Ruhr), where from 1969 to 1995. worked as a leading pediatrician.
