In 1997, psychologist Vladimir Serkin accidentally met a man whom everyone around him considered a shaman. The result of their rather long communication was the book "The Laughter of the Shaman," which contains processed fragments of diary entries, dialogues with a person living an unusual life and communicating not only with people, but also with other creatures who own many amazing practices. Some readers have compared "Shaman's Guffawing" to Carlos Castaneda's "The Teachings of Don Juan."
