This publication is a memoir of the trial of Joseph Brodsky, which began with the publication in the newspaper Vecherny Leningrad of the article "Near Literary Drone" (November 29, 1963). The book contains a chapter dedicated to Frida Vigdorova, reproduced the poem of the French poet Charles Dobzhinsky "Open Letter to the Soviet Judge," published unreleased testimonies of Raisa Orlova and a fragment of her joint memoirs with Lev Kopelev "We Lived in Moscow," written in Cologne in 1987, about how Brodsky was tried to protect representatives of the creative intelligentsia and cultural environment. The author himself described the latest publications and the following memoirs of Lydia Chukovskaya: "Some contemporaries tell about how this first open protest of the Soviet intelligentsia unfolded - after long decades of paralysis, how public opinion woke up and what role Frida Vigdorova played in this process."
