"Dog Yard," Dog Cold" is a novel about students, a desire to change the world and the price that inevitably falls for this desire to pay. The action takes place in a fictional state called the Russian Confederation in an era vaguely reminiscent of a break in the 19th-20th centuries. This is steampunk without steampunk: there is a feeling of a new time, but scientific and technological progress is not particularly observed. Therefore, it is not surprising that fermentation begins precisely in the minds of visitors to the St. Petersburg Historical Academy named after Yikhin. At the Academy, immigrants from various classes, from the port bandit to the highest aristocracy, find themselves behind one bench. One can imagine what such a neighborhood can lead to. At least to rethink the usual attitudes. In the "Dog Yard" there are many heroes and even more events, because student life is never boring. And no one happens: sooner or later, much more serious things come to replace innocent youthful fun. Blood, love and revolution.
