The textbook is written in accordance with the curriculum "Organization of technical support for the activities of units" and the requirements of the GEF HPE in the direction of training (specialties) 290301 "Personnel management (Armed forces, other troops, military formations and equivalent bodies of the Russian Federation)"(qualification (degree) "specialist"), approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of May 26, 2011 No. 1394, as well as in accordance with the curriculum for the study of the discipline "Operation of multipurpose machines" and the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard in the field of training (specialties) 190631 "Maintenance and repair of road transport" (qualification (degree) "technician")approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of March 17, 2010 No. 184. The training manual sets out general information on maintenance No. 1 and No. 2 of the airborne BMD-2 combat vehicle and the armored personnel carrier of the airborne BTR-D. The textbook is intended for cadets (students) of universities, faculty, as well as adjuncts (graduate students) and applicants.
