The course covers Requirements Analysis as an engineering discipline. Classifications of requirements are given, properties of requirements are analyzed, methodologies, standards, notations, artifacts of working with requirements are considered. The components of the requirements analysis are analyzed in detail - identification, specification and documentation, verification. It discusses the role of prototypes, models, tools, the process of managing requirements, the process of improving work with requirements.
