The section "Architectural tectonics" is an integral part of the discipline "Composition" and complements the knowledge of future architects about the laws of harmonious formation. The manual addresses the issues of tectonics of various structural forms of buildings and structures, defines architectural forms that reflect the features of their structural basis: parameters, geometric and physical properties, the work of bearing elements, the organization of structural materials. The tutorial consists of 10 sections. The first section introduces the reader to the world of architectural tectonics by considering issues such as loads and impacts, design schemes, building materials, their features, etc. The following sections consider the tectonics of various structures and structural systems. The presented material is based on the current building codes and regulations, is accompanied by a large number of illustrations of architectural structures, and also contains calculation formulas and tables.
