The successes of modern industrial animal husbandry are based on the practical use of scientific achievements in various fields of knowledge, including veterinary medicine. The problem of reducing the death of animals from poisoning, the departure from which is almost half of the total departure, is very acute for veterinary workers. In the textbook, the author gives a description of all existing types of poisoning: plant poisons, mycotoxins, agrochemicals, heavy metals, poor-quality feed and products of the processing industry.
