Today, in the year of the centenary of the two Russian revolutions, we bring to the readers' attention a new edition of the Manifesto of enlightened conservatism called "Law and Truth." Its author is an outstanding film director and public figure Nikita Mikhalkov. We hope that the Manifesto dedicated to Russian conservative ideology, written in a simple, clear and aphoristic language, will not only arouse reader interest, but will also serve: "a sober reminder that the time of great upheavals for Russia is our national tragedy and our personal misfortune, and that the 21st century will become for all of us the time when we finally begin to live according to the laws of normal human logic - without revolutions and counter-revolutions."
