The main source from which data are obtained regarding all the circumstances of the death of the XX Corps was the material of the investigation carried out in the same 1915 (see the list of sources). This material is presented in the form of copies from operational telegrams, reports, both operational and information about the enemy, orders, descriptions of the actions of some military units, testimonies of individuals who happily avoided captivity, etc.
