These three collections of "Literary Inheritance" are devoted to the development of materials, relating to the literary relations between Russia and France in the 18th-19th centuries. Opening the first volume, two articles - "Literary relations between Russia and France of the 18th-19th centuries" and "French literature and the USSR" - give general introductory essays, characterizing the main content of the two-century history of relations between Russian and French literature and those deepest fundamental changes in these relations that were introduced by the Great October Socialist Revolution.
