This book tells about the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant, named after V.I. Lenin, about events, people, their fates, about the difficulties and victories of one of the advanced detachments of the Soviet working class. When starting to work on the book, the authors understood that they were faced with a difficult task: to collect and summarize huge archival and printed material, to interview hundreds of people - participants in the events, to understand the abundance of facts, documents, memories, to select from them the most important, interesting, characteristic, which captured the unusually rich history of ChTZ, and in it, like in a drop of water, is the history of the whole country. Attempts to write the history of Tractor have been made for a long time and more than once.
