The principle of operation, design and methods of working with an electron beam oscilloscope (ELO) are considered. Methods for measuring time intervals and optimizing signal characteristics are given. Features of the use of oscilloscopes in the study of transistor devices for various purposes were noted. Typical malfunctions and ways to eliminate them are indicated.
