The book is devoted to the activities of the great commander of the XX century G.K. Zhukov, an analysis of his lessons in the fight against the aggressor, the military system he created, practice and recommendations in the field of building the Armed Forces in close connection with the modern problems of protecting the country from force strikes from the outside. This publication, based on the study of additional sources, reveals a number of still little-known aspects of the activities of the valiant son of Russia, incl. during the Battle of Stalingrad and Operation Mars, in the battles of Kursk and Right-Bank Ukraine, in Belarus and abroad.
