Five stories made up the book of the famous Soviet writer Dm. Zhukova: "Avvakum," "Vladimir Ivanovich," "Bogatyrskoe heart," "Those who carry death," "The circle is unlocked." The unity of the book is given by the idea common to all works: no matter what positions evil takes, there are always forces opposing this evil.
