The book "Fires and Explosions" was developed as part of the implementation of the federal target program "Reducing risks and mitigating the consequences of natural and man-made emergencies in the Russian Federation until 2015." It contains information about fires and explosions in an accessible form. Recommendations are given for actions in case of threat or occurrence of these hazards. Recommendations on the rules of safe behavior in the event of a threat or occurrence of fires and explosions are supplemented with statistical and historical data, statements of famous domestic and foreign figures, explained by colorful illustrations in the form of infographics, photographs and diagrams, which will undoubtedly attract special attention of readers.
