The book is written according to the program of a special optional course, designed for 70 hours and is intended for students of IX-X classes. The course introduces students interested in physics to the research methods used in the framework of the theories under consideration, in thermodynamics with the method of circular processes, in molecular kinetic theory with the statistical method. The manual provides examples of solving problems and tasks for independent solution, work of a physical workshop.
