The monograph explores one of the most controversial issues of modern Scythian studies - the problem of the origin of the Scythians. In it, the author comes to the conclusion that the main features of the process of ethnogenesis of the Scythians are due to the interaction of local and alien ethnic elements. In this regard, an attempt was made to determine the initial and final stages of the process of the formation of the Scythian ethnic group in time, the main stages of the addition of the Scythians as a specific historical ethnic group are being clarified.
