"Franco-Russian Union during the First Empire" is one of the most famous works of the largest French historian, a member of the French Academy, Count Albert Vandal (1853-1910). This fundamental three-volume work was first published in France in 1891-1893 and was awarded the first Gobert Prize, then it was reprinted many times in the late XIX - early XX centuries. The book reveals the roots of the political structure of New Europe, which was created at the beginning of the 19th century during the Napoleonic Wars.
