The purpose of the study is the reconstruction of the costume of the Turkic nomads of the Middle Volga of the 7th - 10th centuries. The goal was achieved by solving a number of interconnected tasks: - to characterize the sources, assess the existing principles, techniques and methods of studying the paleosuit and organize them into a certain sequential procedure; - classify archaeological materials and identify zonal complexes of cleaning elements included in the costume of the Turkic nomads of the region;
