"War for the Ocean" - completes the cycle of N. Zadornov's novels about the development of the Far East. The Amur expedition and the subsequent settlement by Russians of the Amur Region and Primorye, as the author convincingly shows, met the aspirations of local peoples. A significant place in the novel is occupied by the story of the heroic defense of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in 1854.
