This is one of the most interesting unpublished works of the famous art historian and archaeologist of architecture - I. M. Khozerov (1889-1947), written by him in the last years of his life. It is devoted to the history of the emergence and formation of Belarusian and Smolensk stone architecture with an accurate architectural and archaeological analysis of both existing and disappeared buildings of the XI-XIII centuries.
