In the period 1997-1999 in the schools of our city, on the initiative of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the blockade, the City Palace of Youth Creativity, three competitions of creative works of students of St. Petersburg schools dedicated to the feat of Leningrad in the Great Patriotic War were held. In their writings, poems, drawings, photographs and layouts, the children reflected how, in the difficult conditions of the enemy blockade, Leningraders, together with the soldiers of the Soviet Army, defended their city and made their invaluable contribution to the Great Victory.
