The course of modern Russian literary language is included in the curricula of both philological faculties (universities and pedagogical institutes) and faculties and departments of journalism, and the program of this course is essentially the same for philologists and journalists. However, when giving lectures, conducting practical classes, compiling lists of topics of coursework, etc. at the faculties and departments of journalism, one cannot ignore the specifics of the education of future workers in the press, radio and television.
