New designs of magnetic fluid sealers of technological equipment for various purposes have been developed. Approaches to their construction are considered. Recommendations on the choice of shape and dimensions of the magnetic fluid seal and rational choice of materials of the magnetic circuit of the sealer are given. Designs of magnetic fluid sealers and examples of their application in process equipment are presented.
