The book includes the Ukrainian folk tales "Kotyhoroshko", "Ivasyk-telesyk" and "The little straw bull". The text of the fairy tales is a retelling in English, the difficulty of which is designed for elementary school students. Fairy tales are accompanied by a system of exercises, the purpose of which is to check the understanding of the text, practice and consolidate vocabulary and grammatical constructions, and promote the development of speaking skills. The exercises were developed taking into account the modern requirements of the methodology of teaching foreign languages for primary school students.
