Book of Doctor of Historical Sciences, prof. A.S. Mylnikov is devoted to Russian-Slavic folk contacts - a little-studied topic considered on the example of the folk legend about the deliverer hero, the central character of which in the 60-70s. XVIII century Peter III became the legend of Russian origin, reflecting the socio-utopian moods of the masses, quickly found distribution outside Russia - in the Yugoslav lands, the Czech Republic, and partly in the German Wednesday (Holstein). The monograph uses new archival materials, works of domestic and foreign research.
