The first volume of Napoleon's selected works includes his memoirs, relating mainly to the Italian campaign. Napoleon's memoirs have not yet been published in Russian and should therefore be of interest not only to the command commanding staff of the Red Army, but also to all Soviet readers. Illustrations placed in the book were removed from engravings by famous masters of the early XIX century. and provided to the publishing house by the Museum of Fine Arts. A.S. Pushkin.
