The monograph examines the process of the emergence, formation, modern functioning and development of the military judicial system of Russia. The legislation on military courts and the practice of its application are analyzed in stages, starting from pre-Petrine times and ending with the modern period of Russian statehood, at the turn of the 20th-21st centuries.
