Structural solutions of foundations are considered, the scope of their rational application is indicated. The results of theoretical and experimental studies of various types of foundations, taking into account their joint work with the soil, are presented. Methods for calculating the bearing capacity of the base are given. Recommendations for designing various types of foundations and examples of their calculation are given.
