I just collected everything told in this book into one whole. He met and corresponded with many Kolyma residents. I remembered, and then recorded everything I heard. And now I decided, thanks to the Russian Charitable Fund of Vladimir Potanin, who allocated funds for the publication of the book, to tell the Magadan about fellow countrymen living nearby. Among the hundreds of thousands of prisoners who passed through the forced labor camps of Kolyma (Dalstroy), there were those who are described in this book. Some of them still live in the Magadan region, some rest in the Kolyma land, and some at the end of the last century left for the "mainland." All these people deserve attention and respect from both ordinary residents of Kolyma and the authorities.
