In the early 90s, nationalist-minded figures of the Belarusian creative intelligentsia raised the name of Yurka Vitbich, an emigrant publicist, an employee of anti-Soviet-minded publications, to the shield. This brochure tells about who Yurka Vitbich really was, what his "writings" are, what "memory" he left about himself in Vitebsk, where he worked as a journalist in the pre-war years and during the years of occupation. The book also contains very interesting material about the life of pre-war Vitebsk, about persons who collaborated with the Nazi invaders.
