"Alive While We Are Remembered" is a book consisting of 12 memoirs of the liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster. Scientists, managers, engineers shared with the author their memories and thoughts about the first studies inside the Shelter facility, about the work of the separate Shelter Facility unit about today's Chernobyl problems. In addition, at the end of the book there are 16 color photographs showing the current state of "Shelter" both outside and inside. The photos are unique and have not been published before.
