The second part of the manual covers transformer oils, cable and capacitor oils, which belong to the group of insulating oils. The main types of equipment in which insulating oils are used, classification and requirements for them, depending on their field of application, are presented. Composition and technology of insulation oils production, methods of determination of main parameters characterizing their operational properties, brands of oils of domestic and foreign manufacturers are given. Normative parameters of insulating oils and methods of their regeneration are considered.
