Before you is the second edition of the monograph on engineering equipment of high-rise buildings. The second edition is significantly different from the first edition published in 2007. Over the years, a number of new high-rise buildings have been built, in which interesting and even unique engineering solutions have been implemented. These include, for example, the Pearl River Tower (China), which today, according to experts, is the most energy efficient and environmentally comfortable high-rise building in the world. New high-rise complexes were erected in Moscow, one of which, according to The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, is included in the twenty tallest buildings in the world, built by 2010.
