The book is the first study of the female subculture in the traditional social practice of the peoples of the Caucasus. The focus is on the ideological foundations of the life of society, which make it possible to take a fresh look at the cultural and everyday traditions of the region's population, directly and indirectly related to a woman and the phenomena that make up her "world." The ethnocultural originality of the Caucasus allows concretizing the general laws of modeling the social environment, the interaction of female and male sociocultural spaces in it, their changes that occurred under the influence of factors of socio-political, confessional, and other order.
