On the role of the military in the implementation of the occupation policy of fascist Germany. During the Second World War, the Third Reich occupied and for a long time held almost all European countries, as well as a significant part of the territory of the Soviet Union. The main conductor and basis of the policy of the "new order" was the German Wehrmacht. After the war ended, former German generals did everything to whitewash the Wehrmacht and blame the SS and the Nazi party for its crimes.
