The collection includes studies of Russian culture based on archeological data, characterizing the final stage in the formation of archaeological microdistricts of Northern Eurasia. The materials prepared for discussion also relate to the problems of developing the scientific direction - the archeology of Russians, and solving issues of studying and preserving archaeological materials, creating a single data bank, using the latest information technologies in historical reconstructions and the process of cognition. These problems were considered at the Third All-Russian Scientific Conference "Russian Culture in Archaeological Research," held in Omsk on November 24-25, 2008.
