The texts of Conversations and Judgments, the main treatise of Confucianism, are traditionally divided into twenty chapters. Each maxim is given in alternative translations of the two largest Russian Sinologists of the 19th century - Vasily Pavlovich Vasiliev and Pavel Stepanovich Popov. The book also contains the original hieroglyphic texts of the original source, detailed comments by P.S. Popov to each maxim, as well as chronologically arranged old drawings with detailed signatures illustrating the most significant episodes from the life of Confucius himself.
