The monograph describes methods and equipment for measuring the velocity and temperature pulsations of air flows, as well as statistical data processing techniques. The main attention is paid to the results of experimental studies of the processes of occurrence and evolution of turbulence in the troposphere and stratosphere, statistical characteristics of horizontal and vertical pulsations of wind speed, the effect of turbulence on aircraft flights.
