This textbook discusses both general linguistic and specifically literary issues of text reference, and on this basis an attempt is made to recreate the "picture of the world" produced by fiction. The work has theoretical and practical significance, since a significant part of it is devoted to the description and assessment of various methods of interpreting an artistic text - one of the main components of linguistic education.
