The book is devoted to the basics of resolution theory, set forth in close connection with the resolution technique. From a single statistical point of view, various types of optimal resolution are considered with normal statistics of signals and interference: by lag time (range), by frequency (speed), by signal duration, direction of arrival, polarization, curvature of the wave front, options for combined resolution.
