Ivan Aleksandrovich Ilyin - Russian philosopher, writer and publicist, supporter of the White movement and consistent critic of communist power in Russia. He gravitated towards the intellectual tradition of the Slavophiles, his views greatly influenced the worldview of Russian thinkers of the conservative direction of the 20th century, including Alexander Solzhenitsyn. In the book "National Russia. Our tasks" included articles by I.A. Ilyin, which were sent to the leading ranks of the Russian All-Military Union (ROVS), created in exile by General Wrangel. Ilyin's works were a powerful ideological weapon in the hands of members of the ROVS, who dreamed of an upcoming national dictator capable of reviving and renewing the Russian Empire.
