This publication is dedicated to the description of the fine materials of the Chekhov Foundation, stored in the Museum of the Pushkin House. The materials drawn to the description in this book are mostly authentic and of either artistic or documentary value. The exceptions are materials from the sections "Cartoons and cartoons of A.P. Chekhov" and "Funeral of A.P. Chekhov and his grave." It does not describe genuine drawings and photographs, but those stored in the Chekhov Museum Fund for their reproduction in periodicals, since their originals, with rare exceptions, have been lost, and these reproductions, often extracted from unique publications that are almost a century away from our time, in turn have already become bibliographic rarity.
