Fractal structures of the living are considered in the aspect of directivity, programming of the evolutionary process. To substantiate these provisions, the alternative views are analyzed, on the one hand, Darwinism, the synthetic theory of evolution, and on the other, nomogenesis, as well as a number of other theories about the nature of biological evolution within the framework of the concept of fractals.
