The presented study is devoted to the study and scientific description of the latest lexical neoplasms of German and French origin in the Russian language of the newest period against the background of prototypes. On the material of various modern journalistic and artistic texts, explanatory, foreign, etymological dictionaries of compared languages, the mechanisms and features of reception and adaptation of linguistic ethnocultural French and German components in the Russian language at the present stage were identified and described.
