The textbook is based on three main subsystems of medical terminology (anatomical-histological, pharmaceutical and clinical) and taking into account the latest editions of biomedical nomenclatures. It contains elements of grammar, a certain minimum of terminological vocabulary and exercises for fixing grammatical and lexical material. Much attention is paid to lexical synonymy and functional use of vocabulary, as well as the etymology of terms.
