Any game consists of two elements - "external game" and "internal game." The "external game" is played with an external opponent, during which external obstacles are overcome and certain external goals are achieved. The "inner game" takes place in the player's mind, overcoming obstacles such as inability to focus, nervousness, self-doubt and self-judgment.
