The new collected works of M. Yu. Lermontov, prepared for the 200th anniversary of the poet's birth, includes the entire body of his works of art and letters. Lermontov's texts were re-verified with sources and provided with detailed comments. The second volume of the scientific publication includes poems written in 1828-1840. Early editions of the Demon and the so-called "Junker poems" are published in appendices.
