"Fiery Angel" - the first novel, poet, prose writer, playwright and one of the founders of Russian symbolism Valery Yakovlevich Bryusov (1873-1924). This work, first published in 1907 in the journal Libra, was based on a fantastically transformed history of the author's relationship with writers Nina Ivanovna Petrovskaya and Andrei Bely (Boris Nikolaevich Bugaev). The book is illustrated with 63 prints by Northern Renaissance masters.
